Customer Buys or Traveler Buys: Shiply Egypt’s Two Product Flows
Shiply Egypt is the traveler marketplace at shiplyegypt.com, connecting customers with independent travelers. If you buy yourself, you pay for delivery and your applicable Shiply fee. If the traveler buys for you, the agreed product price is also included. These choices have different fulfillment steps.
Choose who purchases the product
For a product request, choose Customer buys or Traveler buys. This choice decides who places the store order and what the deal’s purchase amount represents. Shiply Egypt connects customers with independent travelers; it is not the store selling your product. Enter the exact item, quantity and delivery requirements before comparing offers. Do not choose a purchase flow simply because its starting reward looks lower.
When you buy the goods yourself
With Customer buys, you purchase or already own the goods and the traveler carries them. Your store payment is separate from Shiply delivery payment. You do not reimburse the traveler for buying goods you purchased yourself. After agreement, the traveler saves the receiving address and the deal makes payment available. The address fields are disclosed according to the verified-payment rules; follow the shipment action when it becomes available.
When the traveler buys for you
With Traveler buys, the agreed product purchase amount is included alongside the delivery reward and applicable fees. The traveler waits for Shiply to verify payment before purchasing the agreed goods and uploading purchase proof. For current traveler-purchase requests, a receiving address is not required to start payment. Older deals can have different address milestones, so use the instructions shown in your own deal rather than copying another customer’s steps.
Compare the same payment components
A traveler’s delivery reward is not necessarily the customer’s full payment or the traveler’s net payout. Compare reward, your share of Shiply’s fee and product reimbursement only where the traveler buys. Category or weight pricing can estimate a reward, while missing details or an unsupported category can require negotiation. The product name alone cannot establish a delivery charge. Review the accepted terms and payment breakdown before transferring money.
Use the correct proof and delivery steps
Customer-owned deliveries require the traveler to confirm collection with proof. Traveler-purchase deals require purchase proof. Neither proves final delivery to the customer. After transport, follow the agreed handoff and confirm delivery when you receive the goods. Payment evidence is reviewed by Shiply; uploading it does not itself mean funds are verified. Traveler payout follows the applicable delivery and review milestones rather than purchase proof alone.
Bags and SHEIN have their own sequences
Sending a bag concerns goods you own, not goods the traveler purchases. SHEIN delivery also involves your store purchase, but its platform payment happens after the traveler records receipt and actual weight with proof. Do not apply standard pre-shipment payment timing to SHEIN. Check the service and buyer choice in your request, then follow its deal milestones. Contact support if they are unclear; this guide does not promise automatic refunds, customs clearance or a guaranteed delivery outcome.
